Sunrise Metal ribbons made of molybdenum, tantalum, niobium and their alloys excel due to their outstanding purity and constant high quality. They are used, among other things, as lamp components where they provide excellent performance due to their very low production tolerances and guaranteed flawless surface.

You can machine and form our ribbons without difficulty to meet your specific requirements. As well as pure molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum and niobium, we also supply ribbons made of molybdenum-yttrium-mixed oxide (MY) and molybdenum-lanthanum oxide (ML). These materials exhibit increased ductility after recrystallization compared to pure molybdenum. When used in the power supply to quartz glass lamps, MY is particularly valuable due to its excellent adherence to quartz glass.

We supply ribbons in thicknesses between 15 µm and 0.76 mm and widths between 1 mm and 360 mm. And we can supply the thinnest of these ribbons in lengths of up to 1 000 meters.
